Buckwheat Pancakes (Gluten-Free)

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients
1 cup buckwheat flour

1 egg

½ cup milk (any)

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon bi carb soda

Salt

Butter (melt in mix before cooking, and cooking)

Fillings
Banana with cream

Berries

Melted chocolate

Cream

Maple syrup or honey

Sprinkled with cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Mix everything in a bowl (make sure you don’t pour all milk in, just enough to make the mix quite thick)
  2. Stir well and leave 10 mins for the bubbles to appear
  3. Heat a frying pan on medium-high heat with butter
  4. Add a little melted butter to the mix in the bowl and stir well
  5. Melt butter in frypan
  6. Pour ¼ cup of pancake mix in the pan – leave it until bubbles appear at the top
  7. Flip it over and cook the other side until brown
  8. Keep pancakes warm in an oven until you have made all of them
  9. Make the fillings and put on the pancakes, and serve
